As part of the IMMENSIVA 2025 programme, ESPRONCEDA Institute of Art & Culture presented SensAI Hack Barcelona 2025, the world’s largest XR & AI hackathon. From November 16 to 18, 2025, 150 developers, designers, and XR/AI engineers came together in Barcelona to create innovative games, applications, and immersive prototypes using cutting-edge AI, computer vision, and XR technologies.
SensAI Hack provided a unique platform for learning, experimentation, and collaboration. Participants engaged with leading experts and mentors from Unity, Meta, and Owlchemy Labs, attended hands-on workshops on XR, AI, computer vision, and Horizon Worlds game creation, and competed for a $10,000 USD prize pool, with additional opportunities in global competitions exceeding $1M USD.
For game studios and independent developers, the hackathon functioned as a creative laboratory to test new mechanics and social VR gameplay, integrate AI and computer vision into live projects, and receive mentorship from some of the most influential professionals in the XR and AI fields.
Post-Hack celebration
To conclude this extraordinary week of creativity and technological experimentation, ESPRONCEDA hosted a post-hack, pre-Unite celebration, bringing together the global XR, AI, and creative community for an evening of showcases, performances, and networking.
Visitors experienced the award-winning projects developed during SensAI Hack, met the hackers, mentors, partners, and judges shaping the future of spatial computing, and enjoyed a programme that merged innovation with artistic expression. Highlights included:

The celebration offered a vibrant and informal environment for connecting with peers, exchanging ideas, and reflecting on a week of collaboration and experimentation. Free entrance was available with RSVP (limited to 100 guests).
